How to Fill and Pressurize a CoreGear Mister

Unscrew the pump assembly from the bottle.

Fill the bottle with cold water only up to the marked fill line, approximately 40 fl oz (about 1.2 liters). Although the bottle itself holds 1.5 liters, the space above the fill line is needed for air pressure - don't fill past it.

Add ice through the wide-mouth opening if desired.

Screw the pump assembly back into place, making sure it's seated securely.

Pump the handle up to 10 times. Do not exceed 10 pumps.

Squeeze the trigger to release a mist.

That's the full cycle. Once you've used up the pressure, just pump again (up to 10 times) to keep going.

How to Adjust the Brass Nozzle

The brass nozzle tip is adjustable, so the same mister can give you a fine cooling mist or a stronger, more direct spray depending on what you turn it to.

To adjust it, gently rotate the brass tip. The adjustment requires only a small movement. Avoid continuing to unscrew the brass tip once the desired spray pattern is reached. If you're not sure which way to turn, make small adjustments and test the spray after each one until you find the setting you want.

When to Pump Again

As you use the mister, the pressure inside the bottle will gradually drop and the mist will get weaker. When that happens, simply pump the handle again to rebuild pressure.

Using Ice and Cold Water

Cleaning and Care

Over time, minerals in tap water can build up around the nozzle and tip, which can affect the spray. Distilled white vinegar can be used to clean mineral buildup from the nozzle or brass tip when needed.

To help your mister last, avoid exposing it to extreme heat. Don't leave it in a hot vehicle, set it near a direct heat source, or run it through a dishwasher. Store it somewhere it won't sit in prolonged high heat, especially when it's holding pressurized water.
