Classic vs XL vs XLS: Which CoreGear Mister is Right for You?
Classic, Ultra Cool XL and Ultra Cool XLS use the same 1.5-liter bottle, hand pump, adjustable brass nozzle and included spare nozzle parts. None has stronger misting performance than another.
The choice comes down mainly to two things: whether you want a zippered neoprene sleeve and how you prefer to carry the mister.
Classic — No neoprene sleeve. Separate lanyard and D-ring bag/belt clip.
Ultra Cool XL — Zippered neoprene sleeve with a separate lanyard and D-ring bag/belt clip. CoreGear’s most popular configuration.
Ultra Cool XLS — Zippered neoprene sleeve with the carrying strap attached directly to the sleeve. No separate lanyard or D-ring clip.
If you are unsure which to choose, the Ultra Cool XL is the most versatile starting point because it combines the sleeve with both separate carrying options.
CoreGear Classic
The Classic uses the same bottle, pump and adjustable brass-nozzle system as XL and XLS, but it does not include a neoprene sleeve.
It includes a separate lanyard and D-ring bag/belt clip, along with a spare complete nozzle and spare brass nozzle tip.
Choose the Classic if you want the simplest configuration and do not need the zippered sleeve.
CoreGear Ultra Cool XL
The Ultra Cool XL uses the same bottle, pump and adjustable brass-nozzle system as the Classic and XLS.
It adds a full zippered neoprene sleeve while keeping a separate lanyard and D-ring bag/belt clip. It also includes a spare complete nozzle and spare brass nozzle tip.
Choose the XL if you want the sleeve plus the most flexible carrying setup. It is CoreGear’s most popular configuration.
CoreGear Ultra Cool XLS
The Ultra Cool XLS uses the same bottle, pump and adjustable brass-nozzle system as the Classic and XL.
It includes a full zippered neoprene sleeve with the carrying strap attached directly to the sleeve. It does not use the separate lanyard or D-ring clip found on the Classic and XL. It also includes a spare complete nozzle and spare brass nozzle tip.
Choose the XLS if you prefer the carrying strap integrated directly into the sleeve.
What All Three CoreGear Misters Have in Common
All three models share the same core mister system:
1.5-liter bottle with an operating fill line of approximately 40 fl oz / 1.2 liters
Manual hand pump with no batteries or charging
Wide-mouth opening for cold water and ice
Adjustable brass nozzle
Pump up to about 10 times when pressurizing or re-pressurizing
One spare complete nozzle and one spare brass nozzle tip
The sleeve and carrying configuration are what distinguish the models. The underlying mister system is the same.
