About Us
CoreGear® has been helping people cool down outdoors since 2011. Our simple, battery-free 1.5-liter personal pump mister started with the CoreGear Classic and evolved into the Ultra Cool XL and Ultra Cool XLS, adding different carrying and neoprene-sleeve options while keeping the same proven mister bottle.
Today, CoreGear Misters focuses on three personal mister models and the replacement nozzle accessories that help keep them working. Our misters are available in Blue, Teal, Grey, Purple and Red and are sold through Amazon.

Fill the bottle with water only to the fill line. Replace the pump handle and screw it on tightly, making sure the lanyard or carrying strap is not caught in the threads. Pump the handle 10 times to pressurize the mister.
-
Yes. The wide-mouth bottle makes it easy to add ice cubes to help keep the water colder longer.
When adding ice, make sure the combined water and ice level does not exceed the bottle's fill line before pressurizing the mister.
-
The brass nozzle tip is threaded to adjust the spray pattern. Turn the tip to the left for a fine mist. As you turn it to the right, the mist changes to a stronger spray.
Do not continue loosening the brass tip beyond ¼ turn, as it can separate from the nozzle.
-
Your CoreGear mister is new. During manufacturing, each mister is tested with water to verify proper operation. A small amount of residual water or a few water droplets may remain inside the bottle or nozzle after testing.
-
A steady stream instead of a fine mist usually indicates that the nozzle is partially clogged.
Hard-water mineral deposits can block the very small mist opening. Purified or distilled water is recommended whenever practical to help reduce mineral buildup.
Cleaning the nozzle will usually restore the fine mist.
The nozzle may also not be fully threaded to the pump handle. Ensure it is tightened before use.
-
To clean the nozzle, remove it from the pump handle and soak it in distilled white vinegar for about 15 minutes. Gently tap the nozzle to help loosen mineral deposits, rinse it with clean water, and reinstall it.
To replace the nozzle, unscrew the old nozzle counterclockwise. Check for the small white seal inside the connection area, as it may remain in the pump handle when the nozzle is removed. Make sure the seal is correctly positioned before installing the replacement nozzle.
-
Unscrew the pump handle from the bottle and inspect the large black or white rubber O-ring located around the underside lip of the pump assembly.
Make sure the O-ring is present, properly seated, and not damaged. A missing or improperly seated O-ring is one of the most common causes of pressure loss.
Also make sure the pump handle is screwed tightly onto the bottle and that the lanyard is not caught in the threads.
-
No. CoreGear misters are designed for external misting and cooling use. They are not designed to be used as drinking bottles.
-
No. Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat or direct sunlight, especially inside a parked vehicle.
High temperatures can damage or deform plastic components and may affect the performance of the pressurized bottle.
-
Fill the bottle only to the marked fill line and pump the handle approximately 10 times.
Overfilling or excessive pressurization can place unnecessary stress on the bottle and pump assembly and may damage the product.
CoreGear misters are not toys. Children should be instructed in their proper use.
-
No.
Do not place the mister or any of its components in a dishwasher. Wash the bottle and components by hand using mild soap and water.
